It’s running season again and our favorite Charity Runner, Kristin McQueen, is back. After
a few setbacks earlier this year, she’s once again swimming, biking,
and running to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Her
goal this year is an ambitious one, but she’s not one to back away from
a challenge. Meeting this year’s goal would mean that since 2002, her
donors and supporters will have contributed a total of $100,000 to the
fight. Think about how many positive strides can be made against
cancer with that money.
For
many reasons awareness of cancer has increased, but how about we do
something more than just being aware? Whether it’s making lifestyle changes, supporting a loved one living with the disease, donating money and/or time, all of these are active ways to fight cancer. If
you would like to make a contribution, click on the link below and that
will take you to her website, where you can click on “donate” to
proceed. http://main.acsevents.org/
We know that budgets are tight so thank you in advance for anything you can give. Prayers and positive thoughts are also equally appreciated.

I've sponsored Kristin for a number of years- it's a great cause and she could use your help to reach her goal!
Good luck, Kristin!
